Whether prospective clients shall show identification

Buyers: Buyers are required to provide valid, photo identification 1) at the time an exclusive agency agreement is signed or 2) prior to the commencement of showings if there is no agency agreement in place.

Sellers: Sellers are required to provide valid, photo identification at the time listing documents are signed.

Whether an exclusive broker agreement is required

Buyers: An exclusive agency agreement is encouraged but not required.

Sellers: An exclusive agency agreement is required of all sellers.

Whether pre-approval for a mortgage loan is required

Buyers: No pre-approval is required for customers to make general or specific properties inquiries prior to a buyer consultation or property showings. A valid pre-approval or similar document from a licensed mortgage lender is required of every buying customer and client before showings commence.
